Trunks is a character from the popular anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z. He is the son of Vegeta and Bulma, and first appeared in the manga chapter "The Androids Appear!" and the anime episode "Mystery Warrior Appears!! Finally, Gohan's Super Transformation!".
There are two primary versions of Trunks. The most well-known is Future Trunks, who travels back in time from a devastated future to warn Goku and the others about the impending threat of the Androids and Cell. He possesses Super Saiyan abilities and is determined to change his timeline for the better.
The second version is Kid Trunks, who grows up in the altered timeline and is a carefree and powerful Saiyan child. He frequently trains and spars with Goten, Goku's youngest son, and the two are known for their fusion technique, which creates the powerful warrior Gotenks.
